I have been trying to get some good fall photos of the kids, but they have not been cooperating lately. Actually, the weather hasn't either. It's been rainy and/or cloudy and/or cold and/or windy, and just not good for outdoor photo taking.
Here are the couple of shots that I managed to get at my parents house last weekend.
Maureen contemplates the grass.
My good looking husband.

Johnny takes over the neighbor's sandbox.
The past 2 days have been rainy and chilly, with more of same promised for tomorrow, so today I decided we had to get out of the house. It's hard enough to be stuck in the house with the kids, it's even harder when you're completely exhausted. So we went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch, because they have an indoor play area.
This hat is a hand me down from one of Johnny and Maureen's cousins. I think she looks so cute in it!

Of course, I can't take her picture without taking Johnny's too, so here he is.

Cross your fingers for some decent weather ASAP!

Your kids are SO cute!
I'm also so looking forward to a sunny day. Photos just don't look as nice when it's so bleak.
No matter what the weather those kids are so darn cute, I can't believe it!!! Hope you get some rest and decent weather soon, take care friend!!!
Your kids are cute! I just want to point this out though--car seat buckles should be at their underarms, not up so high. I learned that when I had my seats checked by professionals. Just thought I'd share that with you.
Anon, I have to put them up high because they both mess with the clips, regardless of where they start at. By the time we go half a mile, both kids have pushed the clips down and they are at their underarms, where they belong. Thanks for your concern!
Oh, I am still recovering from that rainy weekend. My kids were bouncing off the walls...
