Where did the day go? It's almost 5PM already. Didn't I just get up? No one told me that preschool would have a way of making the hours go faster.
This morning was a little rushed because we had to drive over to our pediatrician's office to pick up Johnny's medical forms for school, then stop at the grocery store on the way home for a mango and a melon for tonight's supper. At home, I did some laundry and fed the kids lunch, then my brother came over with Noah (or as Maureen calls him, Baby Na Na) to stay with Maureen. She was supposed to nap, but that's another story.
At school, Johnny painted a picture and did a craft involving popsicle sticks and the number 4. And when it was time to leave, he asked, "Can we stay here some more?"
Maureen took an abbreviated nap, so after Andy and Noah left, I tried to put her down to sleep again. It was just long enough to clean the bathroom, fold some laundry, sort through the mail, and clean an enormous mess involving an impatient four-year-old and an almost full gallon of milk. (Hint: He dropped it. I have mopped three times. If anyone has suggestions for getting milk off of wood floors, I'm all ears.) Here it is, almost dinner time, and after that comes bathtime and bedtime. Where did the hours go and why do I feel like I've been rushing all day?
Here are two photos of Johnny, posing with his new lunchbox.

He is so cute! How can he be going to school already? Time is really flying by.
Milk on the wood floor! ACK!!!I don't know! Tracy just got new wood floors and they told her to use half Windex/half water with a damp mop...maybe that would help?!
He is adorable with his new lunch box!
So glad that he had a great day! What a cutie!
OH HOW PRECIOUS!!! He is such a handsome little man! Don't they just grow up so fast?
But never forget that boys always need their mamas. :)
