My lovely bloggy friend, Kiki, gave me this award. Thanks so much, Kiki! You may remember that I recently got to meet Kiki and she's just as sweet as her blog makes her appear. I didn't mention at the time that I changed my clothes six times before leaving the house. After all, what does one wear to meet a fashionista?
Thanks again, Kiki, your friendship means a lot.
I'm supposed to pass this award on to ten bloggers, so here goes:
Jen at Lords of the Manor was the one who encouraged me to start a blog in the first place. Her posts are always insightful and well-written. She's one of the smartest people I know, and she knows something about just about everything. She's my go-to person for child development questions and if you need laundry help, she's your woman.
Mary at Not Before 7 is a fellow Marylander and mom of three precious kids. She hosts Tiny Talk Tuesday, a tribute to the funny things kids say, and just had her one year blogging anniversary.
Becky at Boys Rule My Life is mom to three boys, one of which is allergic to milk. Be sure to check out her blog if you're a dairy free family!
Missy at Dettmer News is a military mom whose deployed husband recently came home. She's got the cutest kids! Be sure to check out the pictures of her son helping his daddy build a porch railing with a plastic hammer.
Summer at SumSumSummertime is a local blogger, just on the other side of the park from me. Her observations on city life crack me up, particularly the phrase "ghetto bird," referring to the helicopter that hovers and shines lights for no apparent reason. Plus, she has cats. And cat lovers are always awesome in my book.
Sarah at The Continuing Adventures of Fred and Sarah is one of my oldest friends, if not THE oldest. We've been friends since the fourth grade, when her family moved here from North Dakota. She eventually moved back, but we've kept in touch and now she has her own blog to show off pictures of her baby girl.
Super B's Mom at The Adventures of T and Super B is a hillbilly mom in Alabama, Her posts are always so sweet and the pictures of Super B are adorable.
Stephanie at Neuroses Galore is also a neighbor of sorts. She's a whiz with the sewing machine. Check out her tutorial on the all-in-one girls bandeau jumper, it's too cute for words!
That's only eight, but pretty much everyone else has been tagged for this award already, or I got them with the Excellent Award.
Be sure to check out these great blogs!
