Kiki visited her family last week and on her way home, we met up for brunch on Sunday! She's just as sweet as I expected. Have you ever met someone for the first time and felt like you've known them forever? It took forever to order our food because we were talking, and even after our food came, we jumped from topic to topic. We talked about Baltimore history, living at the beach, how disgusting raw oysters are, how Kiki performs surgery on her food and why I wasn't wearing shorts (an unfortunate incident with self tanner). I had a great time, and next time she comes through Baltimore, we'll do it again.

I agree that it felt like I had known you forever and the funny thing is that by reading your blog, I already had a picture of what you were talking about!!! It was awesome and completely comfortable, due in large part to your friendliness.

oh yes. raw oysters are disgusting. especially when they are too big to just swallow and you have to chew them!!! yuck yuck yuck yuck!!! what a fun time! (and would love to hear the self tanner story!!)
I think a picture should accompany the story of the self tanner story...a mistake I'm sure we all have made!!! I usually have a problem with applying sunblock and then I get handprint burns where I missed spots...you can't imagine what its like to walk around the beach like that.UGH!!!
