Playground Day

We try to get together with my friend Christine and her kids regularly. The last couple of times, one of us had to cancel because one of the kids was sick, so it's been awhile since our last visit. Christine called yesterday morning and said, "My kids are healthy. Can you come over?" My kids were healthy too, said I said, "Yes!"

We ended up taking them to a playground in her neighborhood. It was great because we were the only ones there and the boys could run around and dig in the mulch and get filthy dirty while we talked about our husbands. I'm kidding, we didn't talk about our husbands, but I think we did talk about every other subject possible.

Here's Johnny in the tire swing and some close up shots.

Close up of Maureen.

While the boys ran around, the babies sat and looked at each other. Then we put both girls into the double stroller and they continued to stare at each other.

We stayed for a couple of hours, then us moms were getting cold, so we attempted to remove the layers of dirt from the boys and headed home.

A nice day.

What darling photos!! I can't believe it isn't warmer yet and the kids look bundled up for winter! I also can't believe all kids were healthy. We can't seem to get to that point in our neighborhood yet!

I found you by way of Becky at Boys Rule My Life. I noticed that you are a fellow Vet. Tech!

God bless you and your family!
