We're getting our first snow of the season, and the weather system also brought me a migraine. I conveniently chose today to be the day to quit drinking soda, so at 730 this morning, I ran to Safeway for more Diet Dr. Pepper, Sudafed and Tylenol, the only thing that ever helps with my migraines. I got home just in time for John to leave for work, popped some pills and crawled back into bed. Both kids slept late today, but since I wasn't feeling good, I was still in bed when Johnny got up.
I guess he didn't see me under all the blankets, because he went downstairs. I woke up to the sound of him walking around, calling, "Mommy, my honey, where are you? Are you lost? Mommy?" Then he came back upstairs, I called his name, and told him I had a headache and he said, "Oh, Mommy, do you need to rest some more?" Then he crawled into bed with me and lay quietly for twenty minutes or so until Maureen started calling for milk.
I love that kids this age wear their hearts on their sleeves.

I despise my migraines ... thank goodness for Coke and Tylenol!
I hope you get feeling better soon.
"Mommy? My honey?" That's adorable. How do you not just squeeze the stuffing out of him?
The Howler will call me "Sunshine" in the mornings, but without the sarcastic tone her father uses...it's adorable when she kisses me to wake me up and said, "Good morning, Sunshine!"
My honey.... awwwww. That is so sweet. :-) I love Baltimore. My husband and I use to drive to Inner Harbor every chance we got. We're about 45 minutes away. Unfortunately, we haven't gotten the chance since the baby.
