Halloween and Camping Photos (And A Wedding Too!)

On the 27th, our friend Jodi, from UMBC, was married, so John's parents babysat. We very much enjoyed our adult evening! Here are the happy couple. Congratulations, Mark and Jodi!

Here are the four of us together.

CAMPING
Helping Daddy collect kindling.

Since it rained so much last week, wet wood equals lots of smoke.

Roasting a hot dog with a nice, long stick.

Eating his first hot dog. He took it out of the roll and ate the bread separate. It was a chilly night, but his sherpa helmet from One Step Ahead kept him toasty warm.

HALLOWEEN
Johnny didn't want to put his costume on, so we basically had to stuff him into it.

Here's John with the kids.

At first, Johnny was a little nervous. He would shuffle up to the people giving out candy, look at his feet and then just stand there. Then he realized that he was getting candy and really got into it, saying Trick Or Treat and thank you. His bucket got so heavy, he needed both hands to carry it. In this picture, you can see his tail, which swayed back and forth when he walked. The cute costume is courtesy of my uber-talented mom.

Trick or treat!

Maureen was a ladybug.

When we got back to the house, Johnny tore into the candy.

The two of them together.

Maureen was fascinated by the penguin costume and kept staring at him.

One last shot in the leaves.
