  1. It takes much longer to get over joint pain after having your second baby.
  2. Even so, joint pain is not an excuse to sit on the couch and moan about being fat and tired.
  3. Even the smartest, funniest, sweetest little boy can drive his mother to the brink of insanity.
  4. Potty training is really not all that hard.
  5. Modern medicine is full of ways to fail patients.
  6. As enlightened as this country tries to be, things have not really changed and the USA is not ready for a black man or a woman to be President.
  7. It doesn't matter if a food label says it is cholesterol free; if it's full of saturated fat, that's just as bad.
  8. I really do love Baltimore, despite it just being named the second most murderous city (Detroit was first). If we could find an affordable house in a good school district with a decent sized yard, I would love to stay in the city.

Yipeeee, I love these things, I wonder what that says about me, my life or my blogging ability? Oh well, I am glad to be tagged, I'll post soon!!

On the other hand, I love what you wrote, you are so thoughtful and thought provoking. Thanks for keeping it real and for your transparency. Its refreshing.

Oh, as I was reading this I was thinking how hard this would have been. Then you had to tag me??? Oh boy! This one will take some time, but I am up for it!!!

I hope you find that house/yard/good school...we had to go for a Baltimore suburb!

I have not read any of those books...hmmm...which do you highly recommend?

I am reading through the bible right now - hope to be done...one day!

Mary--Guideposts is great for short, uplifting stories. Perfect for when you have kids that only give you 5 minutes to yourself before asking. "Mama, whatcha doin'?" The Shell Seekers is all time favorite, so I'd start with that.
