We held Johnny's third birthday party at my mom and dad's house. We had a gorgeous day! Last year, it rained, but this year it was bright and warm, so we could be out in the yard.
Here is Johnny at home in the morning, helping me make deviled eggs.

Since he loves tractors and farms, we did a farm theme. My mom outdid herself decorating the house (and as an added plus, she just has to take down the sign and the streamers and she's all set for fall!).
Here is his cake. The idea came from Taste of Home magazine and originally featured cupcakes decorated to look like farm animals. We ended up not doing the cupcakes, and the barn cake was plenty. Johnny donated one of his treasured John Deere tractors to adorn the cake.
Pop manned the grill.
While family members ate, drank and had fun.
Johnny played on the neighbor's swings and dug a big hole in the middle of the lawn.
Singing and cake! We sang twice because it was also John Reinsfelder's birthday.
Presents! Johnny wore a bandanna and straw hat for the occasion.
Here is Maureen bopping Uncle Andy on the head with a balloon.
And here are John and I. (This is a hideous picture. I totally need a haircut. And a diet. Sorry.)
