The Right Kind Of Picky

Today we went grocery shopping. As I was perusing the meat, Johnny pointed to something and asked his favorite question:

"What is that?"

Looking up, I saw what he was referring to and said, "Those are pigs feet."

He looked disgusted and said, "Don't buy those."

Don't worry, honey. I won't.

Pigs feet make me want to puke! My Dad considers them a delicacy. Apparently you boil them and eat them with greans. Also I remember my Dad's family eating something called putcha (I don't know if I spelled it properly or not) but it was basically pigs feet in gelatin. I'm not sure what else was in it, but just the thought of it was more than I could take. My father's side of the family seems to think that this stuff is terrific!
