Johnny is wearing Big Boy Underwear today. Over his diaper, but this is more than he wanted to do a week ago!

Remember how I said Johnny loves trains? He still does, unless it's night time. Our house is very close to two train crossings, and the horn scares him at night. He's afraid to go to bed in his room and comes to our bed in the middle of the night, crying about trains coming in to get him. I've decided my biggest goal is more sleep for everyone, so if he sleeps best in our bed, so be it. I have a lot of friends who say, "I would never cosleep! *Ever!*" To them I say bully for you, but we're tired! And besides, you can file that under "things I'll never do as a parent" for future consideration!

Johnny is turning into quite a little singing sensation! Last week he sang the entire Alphabet Song. He's also got perfect pitch!

My brother in law, Mark, gave me a page a day calender for Christmas with, what else, cats on it. Every day I rip the page off and give it to Johnny. He carries it around, talking about his 'cat pictures' and whenever he abandons it, I throw it away. Last week, while doing the breakfast dishes, I look up to see him sitting on the floor in front of Jameson, telling him, "This is a cat, Jameson! Look at the cat picture!"

Maureen is growing so fast! I already had to pull out some outgrown clothes from her dresser to make room for bigger things. She has learned to pull her pacifier out of her mouth, but then gets really mad when she can't get it back in.
